The Green Overseas Programme

The €17.8 million Green Overseas “GO” Programme, funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by Expertise France, aims to contribute to the sustainable, resilient and inclusive development of the 25 European (OCTs) and UK (UKOTs) Overseas Countries and Territories. Under this programme, the GO Communities are designed to strengthen the capacities of the OCTs and to promote exchanges and collaboration between them on specific topics relating to climate finance, the energy transition and resilience to climate change.

The Quick Governance tool is developed as part of the GO "Climate Change Resilience" Community. This community is organised in three successive and interrelated workstreams: (1) Climate change resilience mainstreaming in policies and regulations; (2) Building resilience to coastal erosion and flood hazards; (3) Building climate resilient water and food systems.
